Hello&Goodbye _ 4channel video-installation _ 1998 _ 3'37'' looped

Srictly speaking this work isn't an installation, it is a video-work, which dimensions make it necessary to be presented as an installation. The theme it deals with is the coming and going of other people over one's lifetime - you meet somebody, you get to know each other somehow, you never meet him again. The work shows students I tought at Kaywon School of Art&Design, they appear suddenly, open their eyes and look at you, they disappear in the same way, they appeared. Kaywon School of Art&Design is a 2years college, so the students I took care of changed very frequently, this was the trigger for the realization of this work.
