Incubator _ 3channel video-installation _ 1999 _ 8'00'' looped

This installation deals with the theme of the genesis of life. Five 6"-lcd-monitors are submerged in a watertank, displaying 3 different channels of more or less abstract video images. water-insects are swimming around the monitors. To view the video, the visitor has to look downwards through a hole in the watertank like looking into a deep dark well. The video itself has no sound, so the bursting air-bubbles in the water give a meditative soundtrack.
